In this article for the May issue of the Valve World magazine, ESA member Janusz Zajaczek presents an overview of gasket factors derived from EN 13555 for use with EN 1591. EN 1591 is used for the design of flange connections and is currently the most advanced algorithm to describe functioning of such joints.
